Vote for Jeremy on October 10th and November 7th, 2017
I moved to Asheville to live an intentional existence. My employer did not transfer me. I did not come for a high-paying job. I came because I wanted to inhabit this place—make this city and these mountains my home. Every year I meet talented newcomers from all over the world. They also come intentionally, often without jobs, as I did. I am gratified that they are joining and strengthening our community. As more people inevitably flock to our city, it is imperative that we welcome them with grace and intention, help them build and sustain a life here, and preserve the qualities that we all value and love about Asheville.
For the past 18 years, I have spent most of my waking hours working in downtown Asheville, starting a local business and helping other local businesses launch, expand, and sometimes contract. I believe a local business owner with a common sense, moderate voice is needed on City Council as we continue to chart the course for Asheville. I hope to represent you in that way.
